લંડનઃ ભારતના વડા પ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીની યુકે મુલાકાત સમયે લંડનના વેમ્બલી સ્ટેડિયમ ખાતે ૧૩ નવેમ્બરે આયોજિત ભવ્ય સ્વાગત સમારંભમાં વેલકમ પાર્ટનર્સ તરીકે ૪૦૦થી વધુ કોમ્યુનિટી સંસ્થાઓને મંજૂરી આપવામાં આવી છે. ધ યુરોપ ઈન્ડિયા ફોરમ (EIF)ની ઈવેન્ટ વેબસાઈટ પર પ્રસિદ્ધ કરાયેલી યાદીમાં BAPS શ્રી સ્વામીનારાયણ મંદિર, લંડન (નીસડન ટેમ્પલ), આર્ટ ઓફ લિવિંગ ફાઉન્ડેશન, ઈન્ડિયન મુસ્લિમ ફેડરેશન, ઈસ્કોન યુકે, ઓવરસીઝ ફ્રેન્ડ્ઝ ઓફ બીજેપી (યુકે) સહિત અનેક સંસ્થાનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
EIFના પ્રવક્તાએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે,‘કોમ્યુનિટીઓ દ્વારા અભૂતપૂર્વ પ્રતિસાદ અપાયો છે. વિવિધ ભારતીય કોમ્યુનિટી જૂથો એક જ મંચ હેઠળ આટલા મોટા પ્રમાણમાં એકત્ર થાય તે જ વડા પ્રધાન મોદીનો કરિશ્મા દર્શાવે છે.’
‘બે મહાન રાષ્ટ્રો, એક ગૌરવવંતુ ભવિષ્ય’ના થીમ સાથે ‘યુકેવેલકમ્સમોદી’ કાર્યક્રમ યુકે અને ભારતના સંબંધો, યુકેના ૧.૬ મિલિયન ભારતીય ડાયસ્પોરાનું પ્રદાન, ફાસ્ટ ટ્રેક આર્થિક વિકાસ તરફ ભારતની આગેકૂચ, ભારતના વૈશ્વિકીકરણ તેમ જ વૈશ્વિક નેતા તરીકે ઉપસેલા ભારતની ઊજવણી બની રહેશે. વિશાળ વેમ્બલી સ્ટેડિયમ ખાતે ૬૦,૦૦૦થી વધુ લોકો ભાગ લેશે. વિશ્વના એક બિલિયનથી વધુ લોકો આ કાર્યક્રમનું ટેલિવિઝન પ્રસારણ નિહાળશે. યુકે અને ભારતના કેટલાંક ખ્યાતનામ ડિરેક્ટર્સ દ્વારા આયોજિત સાંસ્કૃતિક કાર્યક્રમમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ બ્રિટિશ ભારતીય પ્રતિભાઓનું પરફોર્મન્સ જોવાં મળશે. આ કાર્યક્રમમાં ભવ્ય આતશબાજીનો પણ સમાવેશ થાય છે.
